The main focus of this project was to renovate the patio, which ran around the entire back of the house, by removing the old concrete one and replacing it with new natural sand stone as chosen by the client.

The brief was also to add a seating area at the back of the garden to make the most of the evening sun, so it was decided to add a small circular patio in the same material as the main patio surrounded by a new border which we planted with sun loving plants.

Once we’d laid the main patio and the new seating area, it was clear that the lawn also needed some attention, so we replaced the old turf with a brand new lawn adding a block brick border to link the main patio with the seating area.
